When we were shooting the Ryan's Fancy show on the Cape Shore we spent time in beautiful Patrick's Cove. These ponies were wandering around wherever they wanted to go. I've brightened up the horses a bit as it was misty and I sort of liked the almost painting effect of the horses and little bits of colour in the mud. The horses are, or were real enough.

This is an incredible but true canadian winter scene. This is sunrise... I am alone at
Lake Simon, which is located app. 200 km north of Montreal and this is January 7, 2007. Temperature was 0°C instead of around -20°C and normaly there should be around one meter of snow on land and half a meter of ice covering the lake...... truly unimaginable.....incredible but true!!!!......global warming....indeed!
BTW.......it is snowing while I'm writing this...about 10cm over Montreal and expecting rain this afternoon and +6°C!!!!

This is the ocean floor (couple hundred meters from shore) at low tide in Alma. This area didn't have much ice but Denis Beach located only a few km's away, where I took many of my night shots at the beginning of January, was nothing but ice making it impossible to walk out. I might post of picture of it later.

I ran out to where the sun was still shinning and took this shot minutes before it dropped below the tree line.

Dans le guide touristique de la région de Lanaudière, on nous dit qu'il y a deux moulins sur la rue Notre-Dame à Repentigny, je croyais qu'il y avait une erreur. Le premier est très facile à trouver mais celui-là, c'est une découverte. J'ai pourtant roulé des dizaines et des dizaines de fois sur la route 138. Ce matin, je cherchais des maisons de style traditionnel avec un bel éclairage et j'en avais trouvé mais la découverte de ce moulin vaut mieux que la maison. Une année que je le cherches désespérément. Enfin le voilà!
